It's a bit like a family hotel, more cozy. There are slippers, toiletries (except toothbrush and toothpaste), water provided, and breakfast is very simple

Breakfast was relatively simple. It was just self-service bread and cakes in a small cabinet. There was no dining area, so we took it back to the room to eat. The architecture, decoration and furniture are very stylish, very beautiful and I like it very much.

We had a wonderful stay at the Briar Barn Inn. Our regular king suite was clean and cozy but also had plenty of room. It included a soaking tub and a walk-in shower, fireplace and a sitting area with Hulu Live TV. The bed was among the most comfortable we've ever slept in. Breakfast were croissants, scones and muffins the front desk told us were from local bakeries and coffee. It's a 15-20 minute drive to Crane Beach ($40 per car) and a 20-minute drive to Plum Island ($20 per car). It was our first New England inn experience, and it was a very good one. The restaurant was closed for July 4 while we were there.

A BEAUTIFUL wedding venue!! So happy with our stay clean beautiful rooms with a lovely charm about it. I would strongly recommend this hotel for a wonderful weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely inn. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I especially enjoyed starting the mornings with fresh pastries and coffee while relaxing outside on the rocking chair. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We definitely plan to return!

Our time at Briar Barn Inn was fabulous! The room was clean, comfortable and the fireplace was such a bonus! The Grove restaurant was absolutely amazing and delicious menu!

Such a beautiful gem of a hotel! Only down side was that the restaurant was closed for vacation. Otherwise it was lovely with so many thoughtful amenities throughout.
